# POST Create Contact

> Create a new contact in the system.

## Create Contact

`POST /api/contacts`

Create a new contact with phone number and optional details.

### Headers

**Cookie** `string` *required*

Session cookie (login via POST /api/auth/login)

### Request body

**name** `string`

Contact name.

**phone** `string` *required*

Phone number with country code.

**email** `string`

Email address.

**tags** `string[]`

Tags for categorization.

**metadata** `object`

Custom key-value metadata.
