`POST /api/conversations`

Create a new conversation with a contact on a specific channel.

### Headers

**x-api-key** `string` *required*

Your API key

**x-api-secret** `string` *required*

Your API secret key

**x-channel-id** `string` *required*

WhatsApp channel ID

### Request body

**channelId** `string` *required*

WhatsApp channel ID.

**contactId** `integer` *required*

Contact ID.

**status** `string`

Initial status (default: `open`).

**assignedTo** `integer`

Assign to team member.

**tags** `string[]`

Conversation tags.

Custom metadata.
