Resources

In addition to tools, the MCP server exposes resources — read-only data that AI assistants can query for context.
Resources are useful when an AI assistant needs background information (e.g., the database schema) to make better decisions about which tools to call.

zeplo://schema

Database schema metadata with all table definitions. Returns a complete description of every table, column, type, and relationship in the Zeplo database. Useful for understanding what data is available before constructing queries or tool calls. Example use: “What tables does Zeplo have?” — the assistant reads this resource and lists all tables.

zeplo://plans

Available subscription plans and their features. Returns all plan tiers with pricing, feature lists, and permission sets. Useful for checking what a user’s plan allows before attempting an action. Example use: “What plans are available?” — the assistant reads this resource and summarizes plan tiers.

zeplo://api-endpoints

Complete catalog of REST API endpoints. Returns a structured list of all available REST API endpoints with their HTTP methods, paths, and descriptions. Useful when an AI assistant needs to find the right API endpoint for an operation not covered by MCP tools. Example use: “What API endpoints are available for webhooks?” — the assistant reads this resource and filters for webhook-related endpoints.

Using Resources

Resources are automatically available to MCP-compatible clients. The assistant decides when to read them based on context. You don’t need to configure anything extra — they work alongside tools as soon as the server is connected.
